T. Fourt

I'm Taylor Fourt, junior studying illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute. Here is where I post art, sketches, gifs, and more!Follow our zine!green beans

Assignment to redsign the masthead illustration for the cover of “Famous monsters of filmland” mag, while included a contradicting character archetype (e.g. a hero whose confidence ruins him). I chose the trope of the Explorer, tying in a more contemporary concept. This piece depicts how, while a great resource, the internet can be abused by those who (for lack of a better word) “hunt” others.
Tried to experiment with new color pallettes in this one, more vibrant. I also wanted to finally tie in the personal work I had been doing into an assignment for school.
